As of February 1st, 2012, we’ll be upgrading our MVP Memberships with new options and rewards for all MVPs. This article is designed to answer questions you may have about the enhancements and changes.
When will these changes take effect?
These changes will take effect as of your February recharge (for most MVPs this will be on February 1st, 2012)
What are MVP Points?
MVP Points are what powers your MVP Membership. You automatically receive MVP Points for every purchase made at Myriad Games that’s paid with cash, credit card, debit card, or PayPal (this includes your monthly MVP recharge). You also receive MVP Points when you trade in games, when you refer a friend, when you attend events, post on Facebook or Twitter, and a variety of other activities. What are MVP Rewards?
You redeem your MVP Points for MVP Rewards. These could be Bonus Myriad Money, Myriad Munchies, a month of GameShare membership, Free Shipping, and a wide variety of other options. For all the current rewards, visit the MVP Points and Rewards page. We will be adding new rewards as requested by MVPs.
Do I still get my Myriad Money from my recharge?
Absolutely. With all our MVP Memberships, you get Myriad Money (store credit) equal to your recharge amount. You gain your MVP Points (which you can convert into more Myriad Money or other rewards) in addition to your recharge Myriad Money. Your Myriad Money from your recharge stays on your account for you to use at your convenience (you do not have to spend it each month), as do your MVP Points.
Why are you making these changes?
As the number of MVPs we serve has grown, we’ve found that MVPs have a wide variety of requests as far as rewards. For example, a local MVP may get complimentary Myriad Munchies and Frosty Beverages regularly where a remote MVP may use Free Shipping. When we were trying to balance costs and benefits, it became difficult to add benefits for one MVP without lessening the value of the membership received by another MVP.
What does this mean for me?
This upgrade adds more flexibility for rewarding our MVPs and provides better opportunities for you to decide how to use your MVP Points for Rewards that matter to you.
What do I need to do?
If you’re already an MVP, just make sure that you’re signed up at Perkville, which tracks your MVP Points. You just need to sign up once using the email address that you have on your MVP account at Myriad Games. You can do this in store, from your comfort of your home, or on your mobile device. Once you’re signed up, you need not login to Perkville again. You can redeem your points with our friendly Game Guides in store.
